Tips & Tricks
Color Services
Always perform color services first and then perform the Brazilian Blowout smoothing treatment. This will help to seal in the color.
Hair Extensions
For clients who already have extensions, you will perform the treatment the same way you would on a client without extensions, however you will apply the solution 1/2" to 1" away from the bond to prevent slippage. For clients who want to get extensions after receiving a Brazilian Blowout, they must wait one week or a minimum of 3 washes.
Maintaining The Treatment
To ensure long-lasting results, we recommend bundling the Açai Anti-Frizz Shampoo and Anti-Frizz Conditioner into the price of the treatment as a gift with purchase. In addition, you'll want to include Ionic Bonding Spray as part of the maintenance regimen to prolong the look of week one results up to 10 weeks.
Swimming
Apply Açai Daily Smoothing Serum throughout hair prior to swimming to provide a protective barrier from chlorine, salt and lake water. After swimming, rinse hair thoroughly with fresh water
Maintaining Volume
To maintain volume apply solution 2" to 3" away from the scalp. If the solution has already been applied close to the root and the client would still like to maintain volume, over direct the flat iron on the sections closest to the scalp at the crown of the head to create more volume.
